The Story of Bronisław Piłsudski

Exactly 120 years after the beginning of Bronisław Piłsudski’s last great research trip on the roads and in the wilderness of Sakhalin and Hokkaido, a Polish translation was issued of Professor Kazuhiko Sawada’s book titled The Story of Bronisław Piłsudski. A Pole Named King of the Ainus that was published in Japan in 2019. This is the first full biography of this remarkable man, being compiled during a period of over forty (!) years. It was published by the Józef Piłsudski Museum in Sulejówek, thanks to the support of the Japanese Foundation and the Manggha Museum of Japanese Art and Technology in Kraków.
