Works Consolidation
Heritage
Bronisław Piłsudski’s wide range of interests and research has also contributed to the extensive dispersion of his works. Russian, Japanese and Polish researchers are making attempts to consolidate them. In 1981, the International Committee for the Preservation and Assessment of the Scientific Legacy of Bronisław Piłsudski was established, the task of which is the publication of three volumes of Piłsudski’s Collected Works. In 1997, the Institute of the Scientific Legacy of Bronisław Piłsudski was established in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk to conduct systematic studies in this area. International conferences are held to summarize the current state of research and inspire new directions of study and source explorations. Now and then the new, previously unknown documents by Bronisław Piłsudski are being discovered.
