Gloria Artis for Professor Koichi Inoue

On May 10, during a reception at the Polish embassy on the occasion of the May 3rd National Day, prof. Koichi Inoue received the Gold Medal “For Merit to Culture Gloria Artis” from the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to Japan, Paweł Milewski, in the presence of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland, Zbigniew Rau, who was visiting Japan.

The Medal “Zasłużony Kulturze Gloria Artis” is the highest Polish decoration in the field of culture and was awarded to prof. Koichi Inoue by the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Culture and National Heritage of the Republic of Poland Piotr Gliński for “promoting Polish culture abroad”. Prof. Koichi Inoue is the author of numerous books and scientific publications on Bronisław Piłsudski, co-organizer and participant of international conferences devoted to Bronisław Piłsudski.
